Slight variations in the backgrounds are changed, replacing elements which signify key symbology in the original with items that create new meaning in relation to the replaced subject. Though the replacement of these elements create new meaning, interestingly, the original meaning adds another layer of depth to the interpretation of the works. The replacement itself contains context clues and connected symbolism.
